Movers & Shakers, Co. is a professional and experienced moving company committed to providing reliable, efficient, and secure moving services. We operate with transparency, professionalism, and respect for our clients and their property.
Professional Services, Licensing & Insurance
Movers & Shakers, Co. is responsible for providing trained, professional, and competent movers to assist with customer moves. All movers are expected to perform their duties in a professional, respectful, and comprehensible manner throughout the moving process.
The company is fully licensed and insured. In the event of an incident, damage, or loss during the moving process, Movers & Shakers, Co. will conduct a reasonable and thorough investigation to determine the cause and extent of the incident.
Following the investigation, the company will determine whether the customer is eligible for compensatory reimbursement. Depending on the severity and nature of the incident, reimbursement may be provided directly by the company or handled through the company’s insurance provider via a formal insurance claim. All determinations are made in accordance with industry standards, applicable laws, and insurance policy terms.
Privacy & Confidentiality
Movers & Shakers, Co. maintains a strict confidentiality policy regarding all customer information and client property. Any personal or logistical information collected from customers is used solely for the purpose of providing moving services and necessary business operations.
The company does not sell, share, rent, or distribute customer information to data brokers or unauthorized third parties. Additionally, Movers & Shakers, Co., including all employees and contractors, is strictly prohibited from discussing, disclosing, or sharing any information regarding a client’s belongings, residence, move details, or personal experiences, except when legally required or necessary to complete contracted services.
Company & Customer Responsibilities
The Company Is Responsible For:

Providing professional, trained, and courteous movers

Performing loading, unloading, or both, as outlined in the customer’s estimate

Operating as a licensed and insured moving company

Investigating any reported incidents or damages in good faith

Determining appropriate reimbursement or insurance claims based on verified incidents

Maintaining strict confidentiality of all customer information and belongings
The Customer Is Responsible For:

Move Readiness

The customer must be at least 75% packed and ready at the scheduled start time.

Requesting or tasking movers with packing or unpacking of any kind will result in additional fees.
Moving Truck

The customer is responsible for providing and driving the moving truck unless the move is classified as a commercial move, in which case the business will provide and operate the truck.

Acceptable vehicles include U-Haul, Penske, pickup trucks, or vans.
Blankets & Straps

The customer is responsible for providing sufficient moving blankets and straps to protect and secure belongings.

If the customer does not have adequate blankets or straps, they may request them from the company for an additional fee.

If the customer chooses to proceed without proper blankets or straps, any incidents that occur as a result may reduce or limit the company’s liability, if any.
Deposit Requirement

A deposit is required to initiate the move after the estimate has been processed and agreed upon by both parties.

Deposits may be requested or invoiced through Square, Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay, Cash App, or PayPal.
Estimate Accuracy

All requested services must be clearly outlined in the estimate, including but not limited to:

Load-only or unload-only services

Stairs
-
Square footage
-
Any special or additional requirements

These factors directly affect the total cost of the move.
Estimate Changes

Estimates or invoices are subject to change if the job extends beyond or differs from the scope outlined in the original agreed-upon estimate.
